About this model

The 2021 Warp_Fin (Warp_Fin 20.21) marks the COMPLETE REDESIGN of the world champion sail with which Pierre Mortefon won the PWA Overall title in 2019. More pronounced High Aspect Ratio design (especially in the larger sizes) with shortened boom length and forward-shifted profile requires less power, is lighter in the hand and offers more control at the upper wind limit. Stiffer tube battens stabilise the shape into the overpowered range — convert monster gusts into pure speed. Built around the NO COMPROMISE DESIGN concept where the propulsion does not start abruptly (no need to muscle it down) but builds up gradually. The draft position has been moved further up to lift the board for improved planing and explosive acceleration. All-new for 2021: changed luff curve, overall stretched outline, modified profile geometry. Hyper Cam 2.0 cambers with adjustable length for fine-tuning rotation versus performance. 3D Top Cap, polyester-only webbing, factory-calibrated battens via iROCKET 2.0. 7 sizes (5.0, 5.5, 6.2, 7.0, 7.7, 8.4, 9.0) — covers the full PWA fin slalom range. Note: from 2022 onwards the lineup was reduced to 5 sizes (5.0, 5.8, 6.8, 7.8, 8.4) when foil racing started taking over the larger sizes. Backed by Duotone's 5-year extended warranty.
